Anxiety, frustration, but also hope and a desire to act. Emotions are at the heart of how young people and their teachers engage with the climate crisis, yet their role in education has long been overlooked. Effective climate education must go beyond scientific data—it must address how we feel and cope.
The upcoming research-oriented conference aims to bridge this gap, bringing together researchers, teacher educators, and practitioners to share insights and build a shared agenda. The call for proposals is now open, welcoming submissions that explore climate emotions, innovative teaching practices, and emerging topics like AI and disinformation.
